Displaying Window Tab for Syslog Messages of Single Device

By default, when you configure only one device to send syslog messages to Syslog Viewer, or only open one device's syslog file, the syslog messages are displayed in the window without a tab. If you want, you can enable Syslog Viewer to display a tab in such scenarios.

To display tab for single device:

1.

On the toolbar, click the Clean icon to clear the syslog messages window.

2.

On the toolbar, click the Options   icon; the Options dialog box appears.

3.

Under the Multiple Devices group:

a.

Select the 'Use multiple tabs to separate between devices' check box.

b.

Select the 'Always show device tab name' check box.

4.

Click OK.
